| DESIGN PHILOSOPHY For 9 years interior designer Susan Brunstrum has been at the helm of Sweet Peas Design, Inc., Libertyville, the studio she launched with equal parts creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. Using her innate sense of style and business acumen, she and her staff have developed an extensive portfolioof projects that are a deeply personal expression of each client. COMPLIMENTARY CONSULTATION No ADDITIONAL INFORMATION | ABOUT THE DESIGNER A lifelong resident of Chicago's northern suburbs, Susan received her undergraduate degree in advertising from the University of Illinois and a master's in advertising from Northwestern University. After working for a Chicago-area ad agency she ran her own marketing/communications firm for 7 years before discovering her true calling in design. Sweet Peas Design, Inc., Libertyville, is a full-service, residential design studio that has been serving the Chicago area and beyond for 9 years. Founder and interior designer Susan Brunstrum has built a team that brings extensive experience to a wide range of projects, from single rooms to complete homes, from condos to luxury residences and second homes. With an architect associate and additional design expertise on staff, Sweet Peas Design has handled downsizing and upsizing, design updates, reconfiguring of existing space, renovation and new construction. Her philanthropic work includes designing and donating all furnishings for a fitting room for breast cancer patients trying on wigs and prosthetics at the American Cancer Society of Lake County. |
