| DESIGN PHILOSOPHY I believe the most important part of my job as a designer is good communication with my clients to balance their needs, desires, lifestyle and budget. My goal--whether dealing with an older home, a remodel or a new construction-- is to create a gorgeous, inviting space, unique for each client. My projects are inspired by my love and knowledge of color, art, antiques, floral and garden design and textiles. I am adept at incorporating existing pieces into a new design or using new pieces to create an exciting new plan that will reflect your personal style. I feel deep satisfaction when I create something beautiful that leaves my clients smiling. Besides floral arranging, I have also owned a home-based business designing wedding and special occasion cakes. I have a network of trusted professional resources at my disposal including custom builders, architects, painters, furniture makers, antique dealers, upholsterers and other trades and craftsmen. My specialties include how to use and combine color, sourcing distinctive and affordable art, antiques and accents, customizing window reatments, and selecting furniture. |
